Design and technology transform plastics recycling

At Plastics Recycling LATAM, Steve Alexander, President and CEO of APR, stressed that recycling is vital for a circular economy. He emphasized that without designing products for recycling, even the best collection systems fail.

APR leads global efforts to improve recyclability, setting standards and collaborating with regulators, companies, and recyclers. Their work has been particularly successful in Latin America, where they help drive innovations that strengthen the recycling value chain. APR’s 35-year history showcases its commitment to creating sustainable solutions, focusing on product design, collection, and efficient recycling processes to address the growing plastic waste challenge.
