Report A Problem Container

When non-recyclable or contaminated items find their way into the recycling stream, APR wants to hear about it. Your input informs our recommendations on how to design for recyclability and helps our technical experts develop solutions to make the entire process work better. Help us clean up the recycling stream by reporting any problematic containers you encounter.

Model Bale Specifications

Developed by APR’s Technical Committees and reviewed by the MRF Sub-Committee, APR’s model bale specifications provide industry guidelines for bale quality. While individual recyclers have their own specifications, these benchmarks reflect common market practices. Understand market acceptance of contents, sizes, and other features of various post-consumer (and some post-commercial) recycled plastic bales.
